Tonight: buffaBLOG Holiday Party


Tonight, the staff at buffaBLOG comes together to celebrate our 3rd annual holiday party at Duke's and you are all invited. This year, our party falls extremely close to Christmas in hopes to reign in a few Buffalo ex-pats and friends returning home for the holidays, those who normally may not get a chance to come to one of our shows. Throughout the week, we have been previewing our rather impressive lineup, at least I think it is, and in case you missed any of the spotlight posts, you can catch up below:


DJ Lulu and David Lee Rad of Crushes will acting as our house DJs of the evening, keeping the party going between between sets and until last call. Music starts at 10pm sharp. Cover is only $5. Dress festive, bring some holiday cheer, and we will see you tonight.

Rochester's Crushes Drops Pour Vous Mixtape


Just in time for the weekend, Rochester synth duo, Crushes, have released their latest mixtape. Titled Pour Vous, the 30+ min mix features cuts from Toro Y Moi, Cut Copy, St. Lucia, and more. Crushes' Lulu and David Lee Rad, who just appeared as part of our Heavy Rotation lineup at last month's Mass Appeal after-party, will be our house DJs for our third annual holiday party at Duke's later this month on Saturday, December 21st. buffaBLOG Heavy Rotation Artist Spotlight: Crushes


This Saturday (November 23rd) buffaBLOG will be curating the official after party for the 2013's Mass Appeal in the Pierce Arrow Film Arts Center(1685 Elmwood Avenue) . buffaBLOG has put in a lot of effort, handpicking a mix of DJs that we think are capable of making you dance, even if you think you are too cool to.  We are very excited to introduce a Crushes DJ set in Buffalo, For those unfamiliar, Crushes is the meeting of two minds, David Lee Rad and Laura “LuLu” Robinson, that results in a relentless four-to-the-floor mega-shaking super party.  Along with three other very talented DJ acts (Buddy Budinski of CULTR CLUB, ABCDJ, and Medison), Crushes will without a doubt bring the party. I’ll see you on the dance floor. I’ll be the guy going unreasonably HAM.
